Art has been a joy and a distraction for me all my life. Drawing and delving into other aspects of creativity from ceramics to murals. So when I tried pyrography, only last autumn, I fell in love! It gave me more of a challenge, in essence its fire drawing! I gather most of my inspiration from nature, sometimes I like to add a psychedelic element to it. I love burning into wood and I feel that it keeps me even more entwined with nature.
We need to stay close to the Earth. I love everything about pyrography, from the texture of the wood to the smell of the burn.
Hope you like what you see.
